Services:
- conducts preliminary expertise of foreign degree certificates;
- supports in the expert proceedings of the needed set of documents in order to get their Academic Technology Approval on the territory of the RF;
- translates diplomas and supplements to them, issued by Volgograd State Technical University (inc. ECTS and transfer of grades to European scale);
- supports legalization procedure of Russian universities degree certificates;
- organizes and carries on training seminars on Academic Technology Approval.

Center of the Russian language testing for foreigners has been working at Volgograd State Technical University since 2000.
The Russian language testing for foreigners is being done for the following purposes:
- Citizenship of the RF;
- Application to elementary, secondary and higher professional education in the RF;
- Labour card in Russia;
- Sojourn permission in the RF;
- Labour patent in the RF.
In the Center a candidate can get a free consultation concerning structure and content of the test and also can do a pilot test.
An official test is being done individually or in a group. Testing for citizenship is being held in one day; testing for certificate of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th level in the Russian language as foreign is being held in two days.
All the information about certificate holder and testing results are being put into the Unified State Register. For the Russian language testing it is obligatory to present and original of ID (passport and its translation, migration card).
Terms of documents’ execution, if results are positive, make:
- a certificate of the Russian language knowledge for citizenship of the RF – 1,5 – 2 months;
- a certificate of the Russian language knowledge as foreign (1st – 4th levels) - 1,5 – 2 months;
- a certificate of the Russian language knowledge for labour card – 15 – 20 days.
At the Faculty for Foreign Students’ Training there is a course of the Russian language, where you can improve your level of the Russian language knowledge. The cost of the course depends on the basic level of applicant’s Russian language knowledge.
